| A Glimmer of Light... |
Well, this is the deal --
Tomorrow, end of day, whenever that might be, I will be turning in my resignation. Yes, that's right, I'm quitting my job. And, no, I don't have a job yet. I have had virtually no time to even go job hunting, much less try to plan interviews.
Things continue to be very chaotic -- insanely so -- and it's become patently clear that it won't let up any time soon. We're also dangerously short-staffed with ever increasing workloads... as in me working long weekdays and coming in weekends.
It's a bad time to go as I'll be leaving my boss in the lurch, but there's never a good time and I have had it. However, I'll be giving a full month's notice just to clear the main bottlenecks and urgent jobs off my accounts... that is assuming my boss doesn't decide to just kick me out.
What this hopefully means is that I will have more time to take care of personal business, like not paying bills late and not waiting 2 months to do laundry. Maybe have time to write snail mail again and actually blog and read blogs. Oh, and some leisure reading, too.
Thanks for all your patience. I promise to try and do better once I'm free of the day job. |

You can become a Blog bum, maybe put some advertising on your sight to pull in the bucks, or quit wasting your time and start a writing career. As a publisher you have seen all the mistakes so you’ll be ahead of the game.
Good luck!!!!

Lol! Thanks, PK, but I think you have me confused with an actual writer. As everyone knows, editors are simply writers who can't write. ;-)
I miss reading your, Fuff's, mummified's, Seb's, Nanuk's, Suz's and so many other blogs. I'd say I went through blogging withdrawal, but I was so bogged down at work, I could barely tell what time of day it was much less what was going on in the blogsphere.
As I said, I shall definitely try to do better. :-D

T, good luck darling. Hope it all goes well and isn't too stressful for you. Will look forward to seeing you back on form, sooner rather than later. XXXXX

Come on then...let us know how you got on!

Yeah, get your priorities straight – food on the table or Blogging! That’s an easy one, Blogs win every time. For me it is the only place I can be obnoxious without Ms. Phos giving me “the look”.

Well done Princess Tea. Let's hope this will teach them to treat their employees properly. I have no doubt you will be snapped up by a better employer forthwith. Go girl!

Fuff, me luv! Thank you for your lurvely words. I can almost see the blue skies again! :-D
Will be posting the interview news in a mo'. :0)
Charlie: Thank you very kindly!
PK: LMAO!! I can practically picture the missus giving you that look! Tee hee! And believe you me, if I could actually choose between food on the table and blogging, well! Don't suppose there's a job out there that would allow me to read blogs and post all day, do you? I'd snap it up in a jiffy! ;-)
Your majesty! King Seb, thankee most graciously for your words. I shall try to make you all proud!
