Well, I can honestly say I've never experienced anything as harrowing as that, Charlie. Glad you're still with us.

Dirk, I'm shocked. Are you actually implying that I wasted your time? Sniff. ;-)

It's the Lemming syndrome. Lemmings get too crowded wh9ich makes them nuts, then run off a cliff into the sea. New York just needs a cliff.

Do bridges count, PK? We get a few jumpers every year, sadly enough.

And this begs the question: are New Yorkers lemmings to begin with or do they become lemmings from living in New York?

I am a stay at home and scream mom, writer, family taxi driver, and all around house slave. I tend to fight stress with books, yarn, and a shut bedroom door. *not for naughty things, sheesh*. Who needs to interract with family members anyway? I've never had a bomb go off near me, nor have I been to NY, so I guess I'm essentially stress free. Wow, and I never knew. LOL Go me.

LOL, Bren. I agree that stay-at-home moms definitely have a lot of stress. Y'all are very much undervalued and underestimated. I honestly can't imagine how you get as much done as you do and still be able to write, too.

    Hats off to you, Bren!

Huh. My wv is 'dfnde', which reads 'defend' to me. Perfect!
