Damnable Drawings and Hellish Handwriting
Here are the pages for my The Cartoon Guide to Skydiving mentioned here.

My lovely bud Socially Inept (back from the UK, Africa, and the Netherlands!) was kind enough to scan them for me, since I couldn't figure out how to use the program to convert pdfs to jpgs. Ahem.

Disclaimer: This guide was written and drawn more than 1o years ago. My handwriting you see here bears little resemblance to its current incarnation, and my drawing skills are even worse.

Yikes, more cartoon violence. So T&B what's next, the video game??

Superb. Chortled my little head off. So glad you could post these after being able to read about it a while ago.

Have you had any artistic training? Or is it just natural? I'm not accusing you of being a Da Vinci or anything, but you've definitely got a bit of a touch there. Nice looking blog, by the way Tea...

PK: LOL! Now, now, PK, the only violence done here was to me, so I think I can be excused. ;-)

    Video game! Ha! You obviously forgot I'm techie-challenged. I couldn't program a VCR/DVD player if I tried.

Also, an ex-Air Force member, surely you must have used parachutes at least a few times. :-)

Seb, happy that I could amuse you. :-)

Thank you for the compliment, but no I've not had any training in drawing other than the usual grade-school things. My mother and brother, however, are very talented artists. Unfortunately, they don't create as often as they should.

    Nanuk: Lol. Sorry!

Fuff: Heh! Hope you enjoyed the images. One day (distant future; very distant), I might get up the courage to try hang-gliding, both of which my mum and brother have done, but not me. *cowering*

Blogger sure can be frustrating at times, eh? Faced the same irritations you describe, Tea, and I also feel certain I lost a couple of comments I was trying to publish. I hope I'm wrong, but we shall see...

I love viewing raw handwritten / hand drawn notes such as these. Makes me feel as though I'm privy to a private viewing of someone's inner sanctum of creativity, pre-publication! Hard to describe, and admittedly weird - but there you have it. You've a wonderful sense of humor and sense of style Tea!

Thank you, EC! :-) Now, who's being all flattering? ;-)

LOL ... but not I! "Flattering" suggests either 'overboard' or 'insincere' - and I assure you I was being neither! <|:))
