The Moon Was Brightly Beautiful and Full
as I got out of the train at my station tonight. Which might explain at least one odd coincidence that has occurred of late.

I had never heard of The Mutter Museum before reading The Company Bitch's post about it a few days ago, despite having been to Philadelphia too many times to count (believe me, I'm very angry with myself).

And, lo and behold, my boss had visited and brought me back a brochure, postcards and a lovely pen -- shaped and colored like a bone. I haven't decided whether it's a femur or what. :-)

I wore my red shirt with the baaaaaaaaaad black sheep amidst rows of white lambies. :-D

Mutter, as in Mother (German) or mutter as in speak under your breath?

Is the femur representative of "gnawing old bones"?

It's 'Mutter' (mooooo ter) with an umlat over the 'u', but I'm not clever like the rest of you techy folks and don't know how to make the umlat or accents appear over letters, etc.

I keep pronouncing it 'mutter', as in speak under your breath, just to hear my boss correct me. ;-)

'Gnawing old bones'? Are you saying I'm old?! Well, ok, you've caught me out. I'm a veritable fossil myself at age 38. Thanks muchly, PK! :-( :-)

And it is indeed a femur. I actually got a closer look at it, and the extra cool thing is that the clip part of the cap is a mini version of the femur, so essentially I have 2 femurs! :-D

It's great! I have got to go to this museum!
