Mr Potter and I apparently have a date...
Socially Inept has convinced me to participate in the Union Square Barnes & Noble midnight release of The Deathly Hallows. The irresistible lure? I get to read SI's book first! Mwahahahahahaha! (No, I have no idea what I'll be wearing except a lightning scar on my forehead, courtesy of the HP stationery set SI got me years ago.)

The weather is rather damp at the moment (ie, downpour) and the forecast is slated thusly for the next day and a half, accompanied by the (it seems) neverending mugginess and humidity. I'm trying to figure out whether any of this will affect the hordes that have and will descend on all the booksellers in the city but have a feeling that there won't be much of one.

Rats! I hate crowds, have I mentioned that? I know, rather odd, then, that I live in one of the most populous cities on the planet.

I have my copy n order and I hope it gets here promptly. Mrs. Phos is going shopping that day as she knows she won't see hide nor hair of me until I am through the book. I don't want someone spoiling then end for me.

Lol re Mrs Phos; she's going shopping instead of shanghai-ing your copy of HP7?!

I knew I would get a copy the day of release (just not at midnight) at my local library (me and Mum, both!), but my personal copies won't arrive till early next week.
