Harry Potter 4 Rules!! Plus Film on Fire!
CAUTION: Rated PG-13 -- Do not bring young children younger than age 13.

Advisory: Read the book first, otherwise several things will be confusing to you.

Verdict: EXCELLENT!

Okay, my first day of vacation was AWESOME. Totally awesome!

Saw the IMAX version of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire -- if you've the opportunity, go for it! Well worth the extravagance. There was a great deal of humor, action, and drama, as well as a dash of romance.

There were several school classes there, from grade school through high school. At least 3 classes, and everyone was well-behaved. We also all filled out a survey regarding our IMAX experience with this film and other questions regarding IMAX in general.

Had a meal break at Jackson Hole -- their Southwestern Burger (non-platter version) with house root beer -- then hit Barnes & Noble for 45 minutes before checking out Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire at another theater, a traditional one this time. :-D

Just as we'd reached about the 2/3 mark, the film imploded on screen -- literally burning from the center outward to the edges of the screen. We all watched it burn. Luckily we were a well-behaved group. No one panicked. No hysteria. A few people did leave, but it was regular movements, not a heated rush.

Anyway, after about 15 minutes, during which time some people (audience members) were saying we'd all be relocating to another room, the film came back on, spliced back together, lol.

As compensation for the interrupted viewing, we also received tickets for free admission for another time (any movie, any time, up to 1 year). :-D :-D

My files and schtuff were moved in the office today to the correct spot. Hurray! The big move was supposed to be Saturday, but it was done Friday, so one less thing for me to worry about. Yes!!

Did I mention that vacation day 1 was a GREAT day?

YEEEE HAWWWW!
