Some Stray Thoughts
Do you ever get days or weeks of

- wondering how how some people go through life clueless or lazy and yet somehow manage to get good jobs, or manage to stay at their jobs for long periods? Or land great spouses and have great lives and kids?

- feeling that even though you're swamped as all get out or have personal things to attend to, that you just can't delegate because you know the job will get done better by you because you care more than by someone else who doesn't?

- thinking about traumatic events and crises and why such things happen?

- believing there is no such thing as justice?

- questioning why the sky is blue, the grass is green, and wind colorless?

- shaking your head at how the good die young and the bad live long lives?

But that's neither here not there.

Hurricane Katrina is only one among many disasters in our world today, but it is the closest to hit us and it's not man-made. The death toll can only rise, looting has already begun, and disease won't be far behind. My thoughts go out to those in the South who have lost their lives, those who have lost their homes/property, and those who have been displaced.
